Hi Everyone,
The act1v8 social network is open for alpha testing. In this phase you can see the site, play around with a few features, and then provide feedback to us to help us with the public launch. I am posting here how you can access the site as an individual tester. All of your information is secure and kept private. That is our guarantee. After you have navigated the site send us your comments at act1v8testing@gmail.com
Tell your friends to help us out as well by passing along these instructions. We want to make this a great site for everyone.
INSTRUCTIONS
Here is the link: http://67.23.9.195:8080/socialgiving/
Here are a couple of caveats:
1. The "password" for every profile is: password
2. Not all the links work yet. If you click on a "non-working" link, nothing will happen.
3. There are a few "entry fields" (the "password" on edit profile, the search fields) where you have to actually hit the "SUBMIT" button manually, or nothing will happen.
4. You can feel free to "create" groups, and albums, etc. (just realize that these will be visible to others who demo with it).
5. New functionality will be introduced periodically, so things will change. We generally implement a lot of the "clean-up tools" (such as delete, join, cancel, etc.) later, but we can always blow things out of the database if it gets too bogged down.
Let me know if you have any questions or problems.

GO2's Ministry Direction Updated
In an effort to proceed more in line with the Charis document over the next decade the GO2 Board of Directors gave approval to align the ministry with that document and agreed to pursue the three main objectives with passion during the "Decade of Multiplication". As a result GO2 will soon be implementing Training Programs and Resources as well as new Integrated Ministries Programs to its commitment to church planting. GO2 Executive Director Tim Boal noted, "All three items in the Commitment to Common Mission are deeply connected. GO2 will pursue these ministry initiatives to further the work of the Lord and the spread of the gospel. We look forward in the near future to introducing new staff and programming that will bring a fuller value to our church planting ministry. We fully believe that in conjunction with our commitment to the common ministry of our partner churches and friends all three initiatives will allow us to find more workers for the Harvest Fields and open up new forms and initiatives in the realm of church planting."
Additionally, GO2 launched its alpha testing on the act1v8 social publishing network with its partners this past week and will move to beta testing by September 1. An invitation only meeting will be held on August 30 with key church partners to move the plan forward. The act1v8 network will allow GO2 to help its partners identify and connect with the unbelieving and unreached peoples of the United States, and in conjunction with GO2 Springboard strategy will work toward helping each of our 1,768 Springboard partners plant 2-3 new churches by the year 2020 AD. There is still tine to learn more about the act1v8 network and our Springboard strategy. Call the GO2 office at our toll free number 1-877-222-2048 x. 4303 for more information.

Circle 174 is Naples Florida
Naples Florida
Naples was founded during the late 1880s by former general and John Stuart Williams and his partner, Walter N. Haldeman, the publisher of the Louisville Courier journal. Throughout the 1870s and '80's, magazine and newspaper stories telling of the area's mild climate and abundant fish and game likened it to the sunny Italian peninsula. The name Naples caught on when promoters described the bay as "surpassing the bay in Naples, Italy. Naples is circle 174 in the GO2 Springboard strategy and we are looking for a partner church or organization to help us reach this city for Christ.
The Naples Pier is an easily recognized landmark in the area.

Will you pray with us this week?
We are so excited about what God is doing and how far He's brought us.
Our Springboard Church Planting Strategy is creating excitement and we are quickly moving toward our goal of 100 partners to invest in the beta testing of our Act1v8.us Collaborative Problem Solving Network.
We ask that you would remember us in prayer this week as we work to secure more commitments. Please pray for protection, further building of partnerships and travelling mercies.
Reaching this goal provides the fuel we very much need to keep this momentum - and ministry - moving forward.
Thank you for praying!
Go2 Springboard Initiative - Please Pray
Please pray for the launch of the Springboard Initiative.
We are seeking church and individual partners to take stewardship and ownership for one of the 1,765 Targeted Circles in the United States. Each circle represents a 15-22 mile radius of our country. When utilized in conjunction with our Act1v8 social networking site a powerful church planting supply and demand can be realized. We are seeking partners for each circle so that in ten years 5,000 new churches, 500,000 new Christians, and 50 million Americans will be energized by the gospel of Jesus Christ..
Pray for these things -
1. That God will grant us partners for each circle, and that these partners will pray, give, and go to this area.
2. That we can clearly communicate the vision across the USA.
3. That God gives the increase.
4. That the USA will be influenced positively by the salt and light these new churches will represent.
Update - Go2 Board of Directors
Rev. Bartley Sawatsky has joined the Go2 Church Planting Ministries Board of Directors. Rev. Sawatsky pastors the Grace Community Church in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, which began as a church plant. He is a longtime supporter of church planting efforts and we welcome his contribution of ideas.
Dr. Jeff Gill, Dean of Seminary at Grace College and Seminary, has resigned his position on the Go2 Church Planting Ministries Board of Directors as he is pursuing additional doctoral work. We value his ongoing friendship to Go2 and will miss his wise counsel.
